THE SPACE
Pikk Street is one of Tallinn's most iconic thoroughfares — a long, traffic-free cobblestone street that runs through the heart of the Old Town, lined with medieval merchant houses, galleries, cafés, and restaurants. This 1-bedroom apartment sits on the 4th floor of a beautifully renovated historic building, offering a peaceful retreat in one of the city's most sought-after locations.
The apartment is bright and well-appointed, with a comfortable double bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook in, and a cosy living area. A grocery store is just 150 metres away on the same street, and dozens of excellent restaurants are within a 2-minute walk. The apartment is ideal for couples or solo travellers who want to experience Tallinn like a local.
Please note: the building has no elevator, and the apartment is on the 4th floor. Fast Wi-Fi, bed linen, and towels are all included. The taxi fare to the airport is approximately 12–15 €, and to the port around 8–10 €.
THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
The apartment lies in a quieter part of the otherwise tourist-filled Old Town, with the main square, the Town Hall Square, less than a 5-minute-walk away. St. Olaf's Church, once the tallest building in the world, is 50 meters from your front door.
Tallinn's Old Town is one of the best preserved medieval towns in Europe, and the apartment is situated right in the middle of all the history. Feel like you have lived in the Old Town for years, even if you are only staying for a night.
GETTING AROUND
The main railway station (Balti jaam) is a 10-minute walk away - many buses, trams etc start from there. The Viru Center public transport hub is 10-minute walk the other direction - a bus to and from the airport (nr. 2) starts from there. The port is also not far, no more than a 15-minute walk. It is easiest to explore the Old Town by foot. I recommend taxis for longer distances. It is cheaper to order a taxi by phone (they speak English), check for phone numbers on the information sheet in the apartment. If you have your own car, please ask about the parking situation in the Old Town.
